I recently introduced you to the Touareg Long Sleeve Jersey from Apogee Sport. To complement the Touareg jersey, I tested a pair of pants from the same collection, the Touareg Warrior Pants. Here are my impressions of this product.

The Touareg Warrior Pants

The Touareg Warrior Pants feature a waistband retention system that ensures an excellent fit at the waist. Elasticated with small anti-slip strips, this allows us to pedal with confidence without worrying about the fit of the pants. They stay securely in place and offer maximum comfort.
Apogee Elite Lite fabric is 90% nylon and 10% spandex. It offers an ideal combination of durability and flexibility.
Testing
You don’t need a thousand rides to see how comfortable these pants are. Tested on various outings, I greatly appreciated the lightness of these pants. I found them ideal for our hot and humid summer conditions here, as they’re light and breathable.
What’s more, the Touareg Warrior Pants offer great freedom of movement, as they are very flexible. I hate feeling trapped in my clothes when I’m doing this sport. Mountain biking requires you to be active and responsive on your bike. I have found that Apogee Sport offers us exactly this important aspect with these pants. Also, the waistband retention system feels very comfortable. Without being too tight around the waist, these pants allow you to comfortably wear a padded cycling short.
In my previous article on Apogee, about the Touareg Long Sleeve Jersey, I gave some impressions about the size of their products. As with the jersey, I found their sizing to be designed a little smaller than the brands I usually wear. Therefore, I encourage you to take your measurements and refer to their product size chart, according to the different cut types as well.
