In a previous review, I introduced you to an article from Fjällräven’s Abisko collection; the Abisko Trekking Shirt for Women. Here I present one of its complements, the Abisko Trail Stretch Trousers for Women. A great pair of hiking or trekking pants. Here are my impressions of them.

Abisko Trail Stretch Trousers
Fjällräven’s Abisko Trail Stretch Trousers for women are highly regarded for their comfort, flexibility and durability. The Abisko collection is designed for freedom of movement, making them ideal for hiking, climbing and other outdoor activities. Fjällräven has a wide range of pants, each with its own distinctive features and functions. I already allow a pair of pants from this brand, but they are completely different from these. The Abisko Trail Stretch pants are made from a double-weave stretch fabric.
Usually in the Fjällräven brand, I have to increase the size I take. With the Abisko collection, the very stretchy fabric allowed me to take a more standard size, and I should say they are extremely comfortable. The waist fits well with its elastic band at the back, but there are also loops to put on a belt. The material is sturdy and partly made of recycled polyester, making them durable but also environmentally friendly!
In this collection, Fjällräven offers functional clothing. The Abisko garments are produced from lightweight and breathable materials, making them ideal for warm-weather outdoor activities. Although they’re lightweight, they’re warm enough to wear in winter with leggings or underlay.
Abisko Trail Stretch Trousers offer a practical design. They feature several and very large zipped pockets, including a discreet pocket on the leg for your phone. That’s one of the things I really like about these pants. The pockets can hold a lot.
In addition, they have a sleek, plain design that allows them to be worn for both hiking and everyday clothes. Mine come in the Dark Navy color. You can have them in Port, Black or Deep Forest color too. Still with the little arctic fox leather logo (Fjällräven) embroidered on the side of the leg. I love that little detail that’s unique to their company.
To conclude
In general, these pants are ideal for hiking and outdoor activities, offering a good balance between comfort, functionality and respect for the environment. Offering a vast range, the Abisko collection includes jackets, pants, backpacks and other accessories for outdoor enthusiasts. I highly recommend you give them a try. They will remain your allies for all your ambitious outdoor projects. Fjällräven’s products aren’t always affordable, but they’re designed to last, so you don’t always have to buy new equipment. They’re durable, so they’re economical when you think about it! Especially for our planet!
