It seems like the older you get and more you need coffee in your system to function. Or is it maybe because my buddy Daniel from Kohi Micro-torréfacteur makes the best coffee in the world? Maybe both but one thing is for sure, when I drive to work 80 km each day I need the perfect mug to do so. So when Yeti asked me to test their 591 ml Rambler travel mug, it was hard to say no.

In 2006, YETI Coolers was founded with a simple mission: build the cooler you’d use every day if it existed.
But the coolers available at the time just weren’t up to their outdoor adventures. The handles would break, the latches would snap off, and the lids would cave in. The Rambler 591 ml travel mug
This double-duty, on the go drink handler is topped with the Rambler Stronghold Lid. A leak resistant, twist on upgrade that’s backed with dual slider magnet technology. Testing
The testing period was relatively short since I use it everyday. In my opinion, the 591 ml is the perfect size to have more than one cup of coffee and for me to have some left when I get to the office. The fact that it is dishwasher safe is a great plus but since I do not have one home, I hand wash it properly as soon as I can. Another cool factor is that during summer time, I will be able to do iced coffee and still have it cold for a long period of time.
The Stronghold lid is great since when you have your mug in your cup holder, you can close it and avoid any possible spills since it is leak resistant. It is also quick to slide so you can enjoy your favorite beverage.
The large handle is great to secure your mug in your hand even if you have bigger gloves in winter or while working outside.
In conclusion
For 48,00$ I think it that the 591 ml YETI travel mug is a great product that you will keep for a long time thanks to a brand that does products that are heavy duty.
