This beautiful and lively orange is inspired by bright spots in rough waters. Personally, orange is a colour I’m already fond of. But YETI’s orange is absolutely gorgeous. It is flamboyant and eye-catching at first glance. I would love ordering every item in this collection!
The Sidekick Dry & the Sideclick Strap
The Sidekick Dry 3L is a waterproof gear case which can be carried in three alternative ways:ย
- First of all, there is a small carrying handle on the back, so you can easily carry it in your hands.
- Secondly, it can be attached to one of YETI’s coolers, or to a military-style molle, using the hitchpointโข grid.ย
- Thirdly, there is the YETI Sideclick, to secure your Sidekick Dry Gear Case to wear it as a crossbody or belt bag. This adjustable nylon weave strap can be purchased separately for $12 CAD.ย
The material of the Sidekick Gear Case is similar to a high-performance whitewater raft. It doesn’t just look a little water-resistant, it’s downright waterproof. The sturdy material looks durable over time. This is also accurate for the Sideclick Strap and the Hitchpointโข system sewn into the back.ย
Water cannot get trapped inside the bag thanks to the Hydroshieldโข Magnetic Closure. It keeps your gear dry. I tested it by soaking it directly in water. It’s so well designed, everything inside was dry. There is the magnetic closure, but the top of the bag folds down and is secured with a long strip of water-resistant Velcro.
