As someone who doesn’t usually get cold in winter, when I go backcountry skiing, I always try to wear clothing that doesn’t take up too much space and lets the sweat out quickly. I try as much as possible to wear a multi-layer system, which allows me to play outside for a long time, without getting soaked in the first few minutes. This winter I had the chance to try the Debajo Seamless Baselayer from Cotopaxi and here is what I have to say about it.
About Cotopaxi
The clothing offered by Cotopaxi is more than just clothing, it is a symbol of solidarity and responsibility. Debajo Seamless Baselayer
The Cotopaxi Debajo Seamless Baselayer Crew top represents a technical top that offers excellent thermal insulation without compromising breathability. This base layer is made from recycled nylon fabric. I found it really soft to the touch. This material efficiently wicks away perspiration and greatly helps maintain body heat. The Debajo baselayer is also treated with a Polygiene® anti-odor finish, which inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria.
What I think is interesting about this clothing :
- It has a seamless design, which reduces chafing and irritation. I can easily be disturbed by my clothes, which is not the case with this garment,
- It also hugs the body perfectly while allowing freedom of movement thanks to its stretch fabric,
- In addition, it has a round collar. The only small detail I personally found was that the collar goes up high. This has the advantage of keeping the warmth in the upper body. After my first outing, I got used to it and didn’t mind it,
- It does not have thumbholes, which is something I love to use when I put other layers. But the sleeves are long and a little tighter at the wrists. So they don’t roll up when I put a jacket over them.
- I love the stripe pattern at the top. It provides a retro look.
To Conclude
The Cotopaxi Debajo Seamless Baselayer Crew top is, therefore, a garment that combines quality, comfort and style, while sustaining a positive impact on the world. It can be worn on its own, or as a mid-layer, depending on needs and preferences. It’s available for both men and women, in a range of sizes and colors.
